Slavery Memorial - Cayenne

Creation, production and installation of a memorial commemorating the liberation of 13,000 Guyanese slaves in 1848. The 42 stelae distributed in the Cayenne botanical garden are made of enameled lava and Corten steel, with an integrated lighting system.
