In 2025, Empreinte had the pleasure of contributing to the transformation of the Paris Chamber of Notaries, an iconic institution whose headquarters occupy a mid-19th-century Haussmann-style building. This building, a testament to Parisian architectural history, embodies both tradition and modernity, values that are dear to the notarial profession.

As part of a major renovation of the headquarters, aimed at modernizing its interior spaces and improving accessibility, Empreinte was entrusted with the creation of the new signage.

Signage designed to enhance the user experience

From the moment visitors enter the building, our signage plays a key role, providing intuitive guidance: It provides a visible and harmonious reference point, guiding users as they move around and carry out their business.

Exceptional materials for exemplary durability

To meet the requirements of such a prestigious and demanding environment, Empreinte selected high-end materials that combine quality, strength, and durability: gold-lacquered aluminum and KRION.

Gold-lacquered aluminum adds a refined and timeless touch, in harmony with the historic character of the building, and guarantees exceptional longevity thanks to its resistance to corrosion and wear.

KRION® is a compact mineral material renowned for its performance in demanding environments. Easy to maintain, repairable, and removable, it simplifies maintenance and increases longevity. KRION also has an ecological advantage: its ability to be sanded and then reprinted avoids the need to completely replace panels, thereby reducing environmental impact.

A modular and scalable system

The office signage panels have been designed to combine flexibility and durability through a dual functional frame: a first magnetic frame allows information (names, schedules, events) to be updated quickly and without tools, to adapt to daily needs. A second, durable printed frame displays static information (logo, legal notices, main directions), ensuring constant legibility.
