State Library of Württemberg

The extension to the Württemberg State Library in Stuttgart was opened in October 2020. The building comprises a total of six levels (1st basement, ground floor, 4 upper floors), the walls of which were to be designed based on a concept by the design studio uebele. The philosopher Dr Hannes Böhringer selected 16 quotations from contemporary literature and music, which were produced as large-format typographical fonts made of Forex and attached to the walls.
